Tennessee Titans 2024 Preview

This has been a big offseason for the Titans. Vrabel is gone. It’s the end of an era with Derrick Henry going to Baltimore. Now its time for new head coach Brian Callahan and quarterback Will Levis to put their stamp on the Tennessee Titans legacy.

I think the hiring of Brian Callahan was a good move. Levis needed someone who could come in and help him develop into a consistent starter. Callahan has worked with some of the best in Peyton Manning and Joe Burrow so he knows what it takes to get the best out of quarterbacks.

The rest of the offseason was a bit of a mixed bag. It’s hard to see if the Titans were looking to bring in winning football players or just trying to get the biggest names who could sell the most jerseys. The secondary looks to be improved if Jamal Adams can stay on the field. Snead gives them a legitimate number one corner and hopefully together they can improve on the six (?!) interceptions from last season.

But honestly, this is a full rebuild in Tennessee. It’s going to take a couple of years to get this team back to competing for the playoffs and that’s only if Callahan can develop Levis into a starting caliber quarterback. He was very inconsistent in his first season, but he’s still only had eight starts. This might be his second year, but it’s going to still feel like he’s a rookie quarterback. There’s going to be some ups and downs still, but the future is bright in Tennessee.

2024 Prediction: 5-12 4th AFC South
